Chamber Minute

April1 2024

Here’s your Chamber Minute with Rosey, It is April Fool’s Day as I write yet another piece about your Chamber. While it’s tempting to write some funny prankster article, April Fool’s Day is just for fun, and while it is good to mix a little fun into our week, there is a lot of real stuff to do so…Down at your Chamber office we are gearing up for Next Month’s Bay Area Brigade 101 Clean Up. This Year We shall gather on May 4th at the NB Fire Station yet again to help Clean up our Highway before Tourism week. Volunteer signups are at your chamber office and will be at our WBC Wednesday Business Connection Luncheon and online at oregonsbayarea.org. We will have 3 Teams this year The Pirates, Bulldogs and the Lakers…Pick your Team, are you a BULLDOG or a North Bend sympathizer? Or do you look great in Brown? Then That’s the Team for you, Are you a SWOCC Graduate or College aficionado? Then Join the Lakers Team! The Rest of us will join the Pirates, and we all will meet at the NB Fire Station at 7:30 in the morning to get ready, starts at 8:30 to 11:30 am. Afterwards we party at the Coos Bay Fire Station where NW Natural will be providing the HOTDOGS! It’s sure to be a great time and we need many volunteers to make sure our area is beautiful all along Highway 101! Last year we had between 75-100 people volunteer. MAY 4th We shall use the FORCE to CLEAN UP during our Bay Area Brigade! Remember our business is helping your business, and don’t forget to like us on FB and Heart our page on the community plus app!
